Meet the Maker - Sophie Magico

Tell us a little bit about yourself...
My name is Eneimoh Sophie. I live in the beautiful city of Vienna with my husband (Joesy) and kids ( Dari, Louis and Hannah). I am a beautician by day. I love cooking, baking, a bit of gardening, fabric hoarding and sewing.
How did you learn to sew and when?
When we moved into our new house 14 years ago, I wanted to sew the curtains so hubby got me a sewing machine. I never got around to it so it collected dust until I had Hannah 7 years ago and discovered PDF sewing patterns.
What's your favourite type of fabric to work with?
I will take on any fabric except tulle! My current favorite is double gauze.
What's your favourite Peony make to date?
It's so hard to choose just one! Poppy was my first Peony Patterns sew, it taught me to use piping!
Tackle my work in progress basket and a new sewing space!
What sewing tip have you learned along the way that you use all the time and why?
IRON! I iron every seam. It has made a huge difference.
What is your biggest sewing achievement or challenge to date? Tell us about it!
I made one of my friends a 12-piece summer capsule wardrobe, there were some extreme size blending involved and every single piece fit great!
Invest in a good sewing machine and tools. And sew every chance you get!
