It's been an amazing week sharing these magnificent creations with you from our talented pool of pattern testers! With a nod to the 1960s, Olivia took her inspiration from hippie style. We adore the beautiful lace she has used in this look! This would be a magnificent flower girl dress in any wedding!
Patterns used:
Verbena top and straps (modified to narrow), Dandelion skirt

Polyester Netting from Spain, Embroidered W/ Double Border, Candlelight (Farmhouse Fabrics)

Annie's daughter has her First Communion coming up next month so she wanted to make her a simple elegant white dress suitable for this special occasion.
Patterns used:
Sweet Pea bodice extended to waist height with the V back from the Calliandra and the double circle skirt from Freesia.
Fabric used:
Bridal satin and tulle (Darn Cheap Fabrics)

Kimberly loves blush pink as a wedding color and wanted to make a ballerina inspired flower girl dress for her pink and glitter loving girl. She look so adorable in it!
Patterns used:
Willow modified with Jasmine to have a closed back. Edelweiss underskirt.
Fabric used:
Satin, Crepon, embellished mesh, and a poly lining (JoAnn).

For this creation, Emily was inspired by her own wedding! She had an outdoor wedding at a local forest preserve and DIY'd everything. At that time (11 years ago) her eldest daughter was five and she wore a green dress. Emily has had the idea for this banksia dress since Peony’s first Wedding Week, but couldn’t participate until this year. Emily let her youngest daughter/model pick the fabric color and trim and then added modified Juliet embroidery to match. The only modifications to the dress itself was to add a maxi skirt with a train (her daughter insisted on the train!). She made a rectangle for the front piece rather than the curved piece used in the pattern. She measured from the side of the bodice to the floor for the length; the train is ten inches longer.

Haley Hintz
Haley found inspiration in dreamy regency era style weddings. The layers of chiffon create a lovely, billowy dress, in a brown hue that would be especially perfect for a fall themed wedding. We love that her puppy got to join in the fun as well!
Patterns used:
Willow bodice, Gardenia sash, Rosemary sleeves, Freesia skirt with ruffle, Cassia front skirt cut on fold and lengthened.
To create the puppy ring bearer collar, she used the large Bluebell bow and sewed a lobster claw to the middle.

Chiffon (Walmart)
Kathleen Reau @lifewiththereaus
Wedding Week came at just the right time for Kathleen this year! Her younger brother and his wife were recently married in a very small ceremony and had a backyard garden party wedding reception. Kathleen's daughter needed a dress that was a little more casual but still reflected her princess personality. She chose blue because it is her sister-in-law’s favorite color.
Patterns used:
Dandelion bodice with the back modified from Willow, and Acacia skirt.
Fabric used:
Quilting cotton (JoAnn), vintage lace from her great-grandmother’s stash
